How-To-Restore-Folder-Options-Missing-Folder-Options-Screenshot-001
Have you ever have they experience where you would  like to unhide or hide a folder etc, and your folder options are missing in the tools menu?
Well today I like to show you how simple it is to restore the folder options as from default.

Please follow the steps below to continue:
There are many reasons that the folder option is not available to a user in Windows. One of that is due to a registry setting.
You can enable Folder Options by simply editing the Windows Registry!
Step (1) Click on the to Start Menu Launch Button and type Regedit in the run box followed by clicking on the ok button.

Step (2)Go to HKEY CURRENT USER / SOFTWARE / MICROSOFT / WINDOWS /
CURRENTVERSION / POLICIES / EXPLORER

Step (3)You will find a DWORD value “NoFolderOptions” and its value as “1“.
Change its value from ” 1” to “0“. by right clicking the the NoFolderOptions —> Modify and click ok.

Alternative option:
If you do not want to take the risk of editing the registry then download the registry key from the following site:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.co…..ptions.reg and save it to your desktop. Double click it and Run it and give the yes permission to allow it to modify your registry key.

Restart the PC if Folder Options not already visible.

Please feel free to have your say Smile
