Synfig Studio is vector based 2D animation software used to create high quality animations.
Synfig Studio is loaded with features which makes it a powerful animation tool. It provides spatial resolution independence because whenever the resolution of the project would be changed, pixilation would occur only in the imported raster images. Smooth motion is maintained due to automatic interpolation of the animation-key frames. HDRI processing in the software enables greater lighting effects due to greater range of pixel luminance. The draw tool can detect the pressure area off the tablets for a real effect. It has a built-in CVS support along with additional support for gradient paths. Multiple layers such as geometric, gradients, filters, distortions, transformation and fractal are other features of the software. The software helps the users in creation of beautiful 2D animations. The software features has write tutorials, interface and controls for the beginners. Manual tweening is not required with it. It eases the efforts required for drawing out each frame individually. Spatial resolution-independence:
Most elements are vector-based, and all layers are parametrically generated, hence even when changing the target resolution of a project, the only pixilation will occur in imported raster images, not the built-in components.
